I've got a VR6 front lip spoiler and i'm looking for something for the rear. I'd love to see some options for the back or I might need to do a one off build to modify the one i've got. I would prefer it to match the front and look factory. Any help would be appreciated.

Blunt but to the point, there ain't any decent valances out there that don't make it look chavey

I don't think this one looks too bad, chap on this forum selling his car has it, so worth asking him what it is and where it's from :)

lets be honest, doesnt look right at all :undecided:
-
I quite like it, only thing is I don't think it'll suit any other colour other than grey, it doesn't stand out that much whereas in a white, red, green etc car it will.

I believe that is part of a Votex kit but don't quote me on that one
-
Looks better without it to be honest.
-
I've started making my own.

there is an uber rare us spec rear valance, that looks oem, and the tits. If you can find one, let me know ;)

Thats my old car lol
Its the Votex rear valence, i believe VW sold them as aftermarket kits, not that easy to come by these days tho

I had to test fit my exhaust to get an idea of where the valance needed to be. It'll need to come back off tomorrow. I started out with a piece of 6mm ply which I sealed and bonded with fibre glass paste and screwed temporarily in place to hold the weight. A couple more skims of glass paste and a good rub down.

It was then time for a couple of light skims of filler.

Tomorrow the exhaust will come off and i'll need to scribe my finished bottom edge, only then will I be able to decide wether I like it or not. I do have a spare if I don't. Should end up quite subtle.

Should be able to get that exhaust higher than that
. Mine is unswept and sits in the valance fine
