hi guys just wondering if anyone knows what alloys i can fit to my mk gt tdi ,size and offset ect
thanks
-
you can fit from stansard 16`s up to about 19"-20" alloys without hassles apart from with the big wheels it wll look like a 4x4 lol
18`s are a good choice and nicely lowered about 40-50 mm

How wide do you want? 10J on the rear is very possible.

well to be fair if you upgrade to bigger wheels you have to change the suspension imo as i makes for really crappy handling

linz, what size spacers have u got, been having a few rubbing probs on mine, ive got coilovers with 19" wheels, think its the tyres flexing
against the coilovers locking nuts, seems only about 5mm gap, thanks for any help in advance

yh with 19's u do get some rubbing on the springs so you need like 5m spacers on the front thn watever you want on the rear :)

did that solve it completely, how low is yours and did you change your wheel nuts

yeah mate needed to have them so as she would pass the MOT :)
mine is lowered about 50-60 an yes you do need extended nuts i put the standard ones back on the front an nearly had a fatal crash because they nearly made the wheel fall off
-
where did u get the longer bolts from
-
if you goto a place where they sell alloy7 wheels you should be able to get some from them :)
an they cost around 40 i think for 10!
-
cheers for that
