Well just purchased a MK4 and picking it up tonight, so thought i would say hi, as im new to the forum, and MK4's

So as long as this car out performs them, im happy i guess, will it?

the last two Astras it may struggle to outperform :undecided: not sure on their power outputs mind so can't really comment
its not a bad lump but its more GT than GTI :smiley:

felt smooth on the test drive, but did not really put me foot down, as had not brought it at the time, will be more willing tonight,
the Astra 1.6 is 115bhp and i think this would out perform it as its very sluggish.
I think the twintop would out perform the VW when the sports button was pressed. as that did give it some ommph, but it was a heavy car! so we will see,

lol, when i was lookin for a car, was just looking for any old VW golf that looked nice, so this one came up trumps! been kept in amazing condition, and has full service history.
mine in a few hours! haha.

I would have liked one of the brand new golf gti's i do love the grill, looks good! but funds are just a bit tight.

welcome to the 2.slow/snail club as the speed freaks on here call it.But i love mine, with all my heart.My m8 got 120+ mph outta mine the other day down the Mway by me..{realy love it and scared the crap outta me :evil: } I wouldnt swop mine for anyother,,

Am going to be taking it on the motorway friday night, so may give it a little push.
Had my astra twintop do 130mph easy. so will be interesting too see what this can do. drove it home last night and was a very confy drive, love the car, and love the central arm rest. makes me feel even lazier when i drive.
Am loving the car so far. so will be interesting. lets hope i get some clear roads on friday!
