Title: How to tell the differences between the GT TDI variants?
Post by: Kev_83 on 05 July 2009, 22:14
Currently own a MK4 Astra 1.8 SRi, which at the moment, i'm planning on replacing it (when the day comes) with a MK4 Gold GT TDI & i'm looking at the 130 version, due to initial outlay, insurance etc. I think it's the best balance for me.

Thing is, how do you know for 100% sure what you're dealing with? I've seen on autotrader, Golf's badged up as TDI being sold as GT TDI. I've heard about the red badges relating to the variants, but only as a guide & not a rule.

So how can you tell for sure? You don't want to be buying a motor advertised a a 130 & it's only a 110 for e.g.
