Hey guys.. i was one of the first batch of people to buy the hottuning coils back in 2006 and have compared my car to a mates recently and i cant get anywhere near as low as him...
So after talking to hottuning I might have the wrong shocks.. Could everyone who has pics of their car please post up a side pic showing roughly how low you are and whether they are bottomed out please.

this is mine with about 15mm thread left at the bottom, i reakon it would go low enough for the sills to touch the floor (on 15's mind)

^^^I would raise the back a bit.
-
Why raise the back man? I'm not arguing the point, would just like to know for what reason...
-
I think he sees its uneven, but im guessing the drive is uneven shifting the load to the rear making it sit lower.
-
It is a sloping drive yes, I know the front looks lower but they are all measured the same on the thread. The front can be lowered more now that i've swapped the 13" steelies for 14" alloys...
-
Is there a way of telling the difference between what might the wrong shocks and the right ones ? Maybe the length of the thread or design of them, bored_welsh_lad?
I'm taking my front ones off next weekend so can get measurements/pics if you want? I got mine November last year though so probs have the 'new' batch if there were to be one
cheers

Mk3's to me look better higher on the back.

You might have them set wrong, they don't need to be the same the front needs to be a lot lower.
