Do it! my mate has a d100, it may be abit old but is still a dam good camera! and they are getting cheaper and cheaper nowadays! :smiley:

Nothing wrong with a D100. Excellent camera, does everything a D-40x does but with less Megapixels. All the Nikon lenses fit, but remember that not all with interface, because the CPUs won't talk to each other :smiley:

yeah i didnt go for it in the end due to its age and i would have been well annoyed if i had bought it and it didnt have a function i wanted due to its age!

I bought a D40 from amazon the other week and cant rate it high enough! for the money it is superb and has a bundle of features.

if you keep checking the link often the price seems to change quite alot, when i bought it it was at 280 it then went up to 309 then went down to 250! for one day, i was well annoyed but someone got a bargain!

yeah id love a d40, had a play with kirks at the oxford meet and made me want it alot!
