throttle position sensor (TPS), cam sensor, and crank sensor are 3 very different things

vw wont sell you a TPS on it's own, you have to buy the whole throttle body i think (you can get one from a scrappers though)

any 2.0 throttle body should do (vw call it a "throttle control valve" by the way)

The throttle position sensor is stuck to the side of it and just unbolts from it iirc.

best bet is to hunt the scrapyards and ebay... i've had a look at part numbers to see if you could nick the tps off a 1.8T throttle body or something but it looks like you have to have the 2.0 one :undecided:

according to vagcat 06A133066E if you have cruise control and 06A133064H if you dont

a scrappers would sell you the tps on its own and you might find one on ebay.. or a full tb with a knackered butterfly and you can just swap the tps over

no there is no part number listed for the tps, all comes as one lot (it'll still probably have it's own individual part number printed on it)

2.0 8v bora or beetle should be the same.. not sure about cars from audi/skoda/seat
