another question, does it make much difference in performance?...
I would like to think so,lick your finger and stick it out of the window while driving down the road,it will feel a lot colder than your other fingers.
-
i know that, but my finger wont go any faster..lol just kidding,
on a serious note, how much is expected to gain from doing this?..
-
i don't think it'll make much odds unless you're running enough boost to overpower the intercooler.
Its probably not unlike when you fit an intercooler - they don't make power in its own right, but increases power by cooling the inlet.
Would only work for a few seconds whilst its being squirted i think.
Sorry not a tecchy wizz

We all know that the colder air we can get into the engine the better, doesn't matter if it's std or a 500bhp fire breathing monster, cold air is the key.
It should super cool the air before it goes into the intake manifold,i guess you could wire it up to only come on while on full throttle.

i got an fmic intercooler for my upgrade always a gd look an mch better for the car
-
Do you run a mister kit linz?
-
not as of yet ;) cant justify any more money being spent if the car doesnt necessarily need one
-
They come as standard on a Scooby STi, so if they fit them it must work.
