just found a mint N plate MK3 GTI for 995 quid, its got a full VW service history, 1 owner until 3 months ago when he bought it and approx 5 grand's worth of reciepts all from the previous owner since new.
is it worth that much or should i pay less??
i'm trying to buy a set of Rivage alloys to go on it. the guy thats selling them is just having them re-furbed and its costing him 100 quid.
what should i offer him for them?? and if i get them, does someone wanna buy my GTI 8v alloys??

Will there be tyres on the alloys?
-
Rivage alloys are 4 stud your car is 5 stud.

Ah that old adapter argument!

yes mate, i havent completed the purchase yet but he's gonna keep it on his drive for a couple of weeks til i do and then i've just gotta swap the hubs over. i knew of the difference, just wanted to know if there was anything other than swapping the hubs......

Lot more work than just swapping hubs, ask the question in the mk3 section as I am sure you will struggle with brakes etc as the GTI is bigger brakes.
