Title: Engine Cover

Hey All,

My engine cover seems lose and it seems that the bracket or gromet from the O/S cover has come off. Does anyone know the part numbers for these? How would I go about replacing them? Long shot but someone may know!  :smiley:

I'm a little confused on what you're asking.

Any chance of posting a pic with the relevent issue highlighted?

Have you actually checked to see they're all there?

There should be four of them: clicky (http://www.swankmonkey.com/vw/jetta/2006/remove_engine_cover/)

The engine cover is a b!tch to remove and almost as bad to replace - if the engine cover wasn't replaced properly, it'll still be loose.
