my rear electrice window is broke, motors fine, will go down but not up, i presume it has detatched itself from the cable that pulls it up. Does anyone have a link to a diy or any useful info. I have searched but not come up with much.
Any help muchly appreciated
Cheers Joe

Hi Mate
I just replaced the motor and regulator on the rear window. Cost me £15 from the breakers (haggled him from £25) for the whole thing. Very easy to replace yourself. Lower the window so you can get to the two bolts holding the glass and undo them just enough so you can lift the glass off the clamp. Tape the window in place or get mate to hold it. Then remove the 3 bolts holding the assembly into the door, and slide off the power cable clamp. Refitting is the reversal of removal.
You can replace the whole thing like I did or just the regulator if you can be bothered removing all the screws from the motor.
