Title: problem when breaking on gt tdi

hi there when i break on golf gt tdi ie coming up to a juction the is a juddering noise and the engine sounds like it is going to stall also my abs light is on what could this be cheers gordon all it feel like there is some flat spots through the rev range never had a tdi before can some one help me please

hi mate

have you tried you air mass meter? this can cause turbo problems and tick-over problems.  it can also cause your engine to lack in power????

sounds like you've got problems with your ABS system

the juddering could be warped discs and pads - get them checked out ASAP!

yes that sounds correct it could also be your tracking and your wheel balancing if its juddering when braking because mine did this ;-)

hi there if feels fine then though when you beaking at high speeds it just when pulling up to junctions an that its werid to explain its like the car is about to stall when you put your foot on the breaks but it doesnt stall its doing my head as the car drives spot on apart from that cheers gordon
