Hi i'm getting about 24.6 mpg at the moment, granted i could try harder to improve this. And this is only with the airbox smoothed.
My question is how many mpg are you lot getting modded?
I know more fuel = more fun but more fuel also = angry wife

dont know on a petrol, have a derv! But I know getting a remap works in 2 ways, 1..sh!t of a shuvel and 2...can save fuel to some extent so gets ya in trouble but can get ya out of it... (proper selling technique!)
-
Average mpg = 53-60mpg :smug:
-
the 1.8 mk4 is supposidly ment to get
34.0 mpg
so if you minus about 5 or so mpg it will probably be the amount you can actually get if you drive boring carefully .
-
my average on my 1.8t is usually about 27 - 29, but on a run i've seen upto 40 mpg driving very carefully

Well i drive 6.5 miles to work and 6.5 miles back. Start stop type of journey with about 1 mile cruising.
Last month i got 360 miles to a tank which worked out to 32 mpg.
mine is a 1.8T byt the way. This was with the odd poke of turbo, nothing extravagent but certainly not boring driving.
-
My wife drives 20ish miles each way to work, a few round abouts, some dual carriage way and some A roads and normally gets about 400 miles to a tank!!
-
i get about 25mpg as average 1.8t
-
im averaging about 32 driving nippy here and there but mainly just cruise speed... i use to get about 35-39.. but since my induction kit its dropped  (worth it for the sound it gives )
on motorway iv seen it averaging 36-40
pretty good compared to other turbo cars out there with same amount of power
-
mine is int eh low 20's but its all stop start traffic on the way to and from work so that never helps but drove to devon the other wk end and got 39 mpg doing 60/65 normally get around 35/36 doing 70

if i drive ine carefully/boring then i can get it up to around 45mpg, but giving it some grr then average around 30-35mark.

Come on grandma get your foot down
-
On the daily commute, I am getting around 30-32 mpg.
If I go to the gym straight from work and miss all the rush hour traffic, I can crawl home without hitting traffic lights and traffic, so can get about 45mpg. Best I have ever had is about 49mpg.
-
i average around 30mpg :)
im quite happy with that as its a mixture of driving, sometimes foot down, sometimes nice and boring, lol
oh, and i have a 1.8t btw :)
-
well ive had my car 4 nights and im currently runing on £20 a night, but that usually involves the turbo screaming  Tarmac Warrior
