quite...bright.
I'm not sure about the colour of the alloys and I'm not particularly a fan of the rear lights!
what about yourself?
-
Tis different! to say the least, i sorter like it really, looked good in real life at dc09 too!

Not keen tbh. Looks like a lot of effort went in to it and it is different, so defo not a sheep!
-
so defo not a sheep!
Belongs to the shepherd innit.
Im not a great fan, its Britlook, but why go backwards you know?
-
Well it is different, I like it in a way.
-
in a way its cool, but I don't like the fact they repositioned the grill badge, and I don't like the colour. But apart from that it looks sweet as phuk.
-
i kinda like it, kinda dont. It reminds me of when i first got into modded cars and the old max power mags of the day.
I hate how overhyped it is, purely because of who built it.
some nice touches, and the stance is getting on for spot on.

Who built it then??

I like the grill badge. That's my favorite bit.
-
I love it. The colour is mint......literally!
-
your right there chris the stance is bang the f**k on.
-
Who built it then??
Carl from vw players & Gwerks.
its for sale aswell by the looks of things.
-
ford peppermint sea green??
i like it :D
-
Looks cool apart from the colour and the rear lights
-
if your interested jord pm joe he know`s all whats been done on this
-
dont like it in pics but when i saw this in the flesh at dc09 i thought it looked wicked
-
I'm a bit mixed on this one, has some awesome touches and really takes me back to my yoof. I'm not keen on the ABT splitter on the front but as others have said the stance is spot on and it's not on air which is a good thing! I also love the colour. I badly wanted to paint my first MKII peppermint green. Ah those were the days. It's certainly a change from the BBS and chrome accesroies look which is no bad thing, variety is the spice of life.

me no likey lights, splitter and mirrors
me likey stance, colour and grille
if this is running straight then with a few touches you have a proper head turner there!
-
me no likey lights, splitter and mirrors
ditto. Exhaust would look better if it was polished.
Dubsport were the first to do the front grill badge move on their twin vr rallye back in the mid 90s. I really hope pastels come back in...it makes the scene so much more erm...vibrant.
-
its a very 90's car, just needs 3 spokes
the stance is too wide on the rear imo. a bit too e38 for me!
-
Hate the colour, hate the rear lights and hate front splitter.
It's way too '90's chav for me.
-
This car was at Brands Meet last week, looks better in the flesh I think, its not quite as bright as it looks in the pics.
-
Bit tooooo much green I think, bin the rear lights and get some more black in there somewhere to break it up. hum maybe the wheels.
Quite liking the grille badge, a bit randomly cool I think.
-
Black alloys with just a green centercap would be abit more 'tasteful'
-
dont like the green wheels, or the len lights... , but it would be fcukin boring if we all did the same thing ....
-
Not too keen on all the same colour!!
-
Tis certainly different, but not to my taste!
-
Don't like it at all really, the colour is striking but it looks crap with the wheels and the rear lights.
Don'tr get me started on the wing mirrors, they are awful!
-
badge is in squint...
-
well as vaughn said I've been around this car since it was bought. alot of the things people don't like are kind of the point of it.
Its a green colour concept, not peppermint green and in the flesh its quite a flat colour. Its been nicknamed 'concept 95' as its meant to be a 1995 style car, based on a colour concept, but with a modern kick up the ass! Hence, the ABT splitter, Azevs, Morettes etc etc. Its also now a VR6 instead of the 2ltr 8v it had originally. Carl got it as his other caddy project isn't going to make any shows this year so he wanted something to have a bit of fun with, take it to a few shows and get it talked about... its done all of those things!
My personal opinion is... I don't like it. I don't like the green, if it was the Porsche RS green, or a metallic it'd work better but in the flesh it is soooo flat. I do however love the massive block of colour and didn't like the wheels at first, but like them now they are on. I also love the offset grill badge and have always had a soft spot for DTM mirrors.
-
Cool a 90's revival does that meen Skeet, R&A design and Deutchcar will be starting up again. A classic period show car, very hot rod.

Aaaah the guilty pleasure. Mines Mines those big wings you can buy in halfords but they can only go on certain cars and none of those are really dubs!

I used to run a colour coded white GL back in the day, looked just like this, minus the stance of course.
