Title: Rare Colour?

I knopw these questions come along quite regularly but I've got a H plate 1990 8v GTi in Metalic Royal Blue ( Code LA5U ).
Is this rare / desirable? I'm not sure if I've seen many in this colour as it can sometimes look Dark Grey or Black. In some artificial lights it even looks Purple :P

i have the same. Just resprayed it 8)

Its a PHAT colour. mine comes out green/blue pearl in the right sunlight.

there are about 20 shades of mark 2 blue.  there not rare, yellow is rare   :P

Used to have a Mk11 Ford Escort in Yellow. The Banana was great cheap fun but I never thought the colour would come back in fashion. ;D

my first car was a mark 1 escort.  it was purple with go faster stripes.  i soooo wish i had kept a picture of that awful looking car  8)

I'm sure I've seen other colour Topics degenerate into a which is the best colour.

Hope this doesn't as Blue MK2 has already picked the worthy winner :D

Must agree with LA5U being a sweet colour, trouble is it's got to be v sunny to get the full colour range.. not too often in england unfortunately :'(

To right, this summer really sucks >:(
Spent some time 2 days ago cleaning my car and all it's done since is rained :P
