Title: hi need advice

Hi im going to be getting a golf gti i would prefer a anniversary edition but il see what i find.
I currently own a clio sport 172 and i just want a change really.
I just wanted some advice on buying one like what to look out for as in bad points and anything what mite go wrong with it ?
Also whats the 1.8 turbo engine like as in reliability ? and some for the 2litre gti ?
Any advice would be great

Ask the same question in the Mk4 section(if thats the Mk your after ?) they will steer you in the right direction  :wink:
But i'd steer clear of the 2.0L as the 1.8T is faster and more tunable  :wink:
