Title: Head Unit replacement for Golf GTI MK5
Post by: cjay on 26 June 2009, 11:18
Hi

I have a Golf GTI MK 05 and I am going to replace the head unit.  I have been looking at the KENWOOD DPX503U.  What do you think of this?  How difficult is this to fit and does it install easy to the speaker system.  I am looking to spend around £200.  Are there any good alternatives to the Kenwood out there.

Cheers

Clive

it is a nice unit easy enough to use
you might want to look at the alpine/pioneer alternatives aswell

Thanks for this.

The Alpine CDE-W203Ri also looks good.

i have bought a PIoneer DVD300 or something like off e bay, ipod prep and touchscreen double DIN,
inc postage I have paid £220 for it, £100 less than any UK dealers are doing it for,
Once its installed I will doa  review if you like?
