Title: wax oil or underseal?
Post by: gtr32 on 25 June 2009, 20:07
hi,everybody. i'm new here. just bought a 89 16v in white. the underneath of the car is not bad so i'd like keep the condition as long as i can.
here is the question.
1, what's the differnence between "wax oil" and "underseal" apart from the name.
2, i'd like to do it myself, but never done it before. anywhere i can find a step by step instructions?
3, what's the best or fairly good brand i should go for and what equipment should i choose.

thanks very much for looking, i wish all the viewers car will never rust....

Both will do the same job, I would pick underseal, wire brush any loose areas first however.

It is a lot easier to do on a ramp.
