Title: Please help
Post by: pin on 21 August 2004, 22:58
Hi all...

I'm new around here and new to owning a '99 1.8T Golf. its fantastic and i have just lowered it by 40mm...

the question in my head is now what size wheel to go for.

Is there anyone who has done a similar process, I have the option of going for a 225/45/17 tyre size or an 18" rim with lower profile tyres....please suggest.

The last thing i plan to do is get revo...d up! cant wait.

thanks

Hi there Pin. Put 18's on mine with 225/40/118 Avon's Also lowered by 30mm with 15mm spacers on the rear and 5mm on the front. Not encountered any problems with doing this even with 4 people in the car. You can check out how this looks on
