Title: help me get a new master cylinder PLEASE!
Post by: tweed on 25 June 2009, 12:06
Right I'm finding it really hard to find a master cylinder for a, 1995 mk3 golf, 2.0, gti, 16v. I thought I found one yesterday http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volkswagen_Golf_2.0_1995/p/Car-Parts/Brakes/Brake-Hydraulics/Master-Cylinders (http://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Volkswagen_Golf_2.0_1995/p/Car-Parts/Brakes/Brake-Hydraulics/Master-Cylinders) I did order the 16v one. But it's 22.2mm bore which is wrong. No mk3 golf 16v has 22.2mm bore. Is their site wrong?
So where do you people get your parts from? Who has got a mk3 16v master cylinder lately? I really need one guys please help me find one. Google sucks!

I think the 23.8mm is for the 288mm brakes I have 280mm.
Right they rang me back and they said I got the wrong part. They have the right part for my car and it's over £120!!!! f**k about. should be here tomo though.
