hi all i got a bit off puzzle,
i got a golf mk3 2.08v gti and the problem is i am not geting a live connection for the radio, the red cable is dead and the yellow one is dead to, all other eletrics are connected and work fine, it just the damn wires dont have no life in them grrrrrrrrrrrrrrh
could a wire be out? and where is the radio wireing loom on the engine plleasee help

just pull the radio out and get a multi meter and fish around beind the console and you will find one :wink:

arrrghh i tryed all of them things, like all the lights work, all electric windows work jus not life out ov the wires for the radio :(

does your cig lighter work?

not sure aint got a cigi light in their :grin:

Check the fuse.

if the fuse hasnt blow, just run your own live (fused) cable from the battery.

but what about the iginition???

take it to an autoelectrician as you dont seem to know what your doing :undecided:

as said get someone to help if you dont know, the memory cable should also be connected to the power cable if thats how your going to do it, just means you will be able to turn the radio on regardless the position of the ignition.

fixed it :D gay waire was out of the fuse box :D thanks for help
