Im detailing my car today, going to pick up a few bits from Halfords, as its 3 for 2.....

Has anyone used this product before and can reccommend/advise against it?

Thanks, Nick

its ok... but not very durable... and its not that hard a wax... and not very shiny really in comparison to other stuff... but apart from that it is fine... you'd be better off spending the pennies on colli 915 or similar

Ive already got colinite so its not worth getting I suppose? If not ill probably get some of the suto glym super resin polish, I have a few scratches wich it tends to work well on.

I use it Nick, and it's sh!t. LOL! I'm still using it but only have a little left, thought I better get my monies worth at least.

I will be going for Colli 915 next, and as for polish, I use the first 2 steps of Meguiars. Paint clean and polish. I find it is immense as it brings out the paint really well and hides most scratches.

Why not go for the Megs Clay Kit? Comes with the Quik Detailer, couple of cloths and clay bars funny enough lol! About £11 I think.

If your desparate to use the 3 for 2 (i.e. if you've already 1 product you have to buy), I got megs endurance tyre gel, AG Bumper Care, and AG Paint Renovator (hardcore SRP).

A lot of the other stuff in Halfords is "average" at best.

This is the problem I have, Im buying a drying cloth and a wash mitt, but dont know what else to get.

Already have decent shampoo, clay, quick detailer, collinite, 915 sealant, so just looking for something to take advantage of it....

Microfibres are good to bulk up the 3 for 2 offers... can never have too many! I don't rate the meguiars water magnet towel, if thats what you're going for? Like Conker says, the endurance tyre gell is pretty good.
