My car decided to pop a gearbox seal or driveshaft the other day at a set of traffic lights.
Pulled over at the next safest place and had a look under the car and gearbox oil was pouring out everywhere.
last month it cost me a grand to get back up and running after being off the road for 8 months. And now this!
The only thing wrong with it is this seal / driveshaft problem. Car starts and runs brilliantly.
Does anyon know how much a seal or popping a driveshaft back in place would cost? Or is it time to say goodbye?

Depends which seal, if its outside the box, shouldnt be much but if its inside the box the whole box needs to come off, thats providing it is just the seal and nothing else (although i cant imaging it being anything other than that, usualy the input shaft seal goes.
