Title: 8v to 16v?

Would a mark II Golf GTi 8v take a 16v engine and gearbox no problem? Are there any difference in brake sizes? Just throwing some ideas out there...

In short... If you want K-Jet it would be cheaper to sell your 8v and buy a 16v, or alternatively fit a Mk3 16v engine to your 8v. Theres stacks of info on here - happy reading!
