I'm not usually a fan of upgrading lights etc, but I thought these looked quite good.
There are pictures halfway down the listing showing them on a GTI.
What's your opinion?

I think before you buy them you should visit www.visionexpress.co.uk, may save yourself a couple of pennies
only joking of course but not to my taste

A big no-no from me here!
If you want to go down that route then IMO get either the darkened ED30/R32 rear lights or the proper VW LED ones.

without being mean if I saw those on a GTI I would laugh! if you fancy a change go with the OEM LED ones above

Cheers for all your comments. Are these the ones you're referring to?

Yes but those are still expensive for second hand.
You can buy new ones from Germany for €294 inclusive of postage from http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Original-VW-Golf-5-V-LED-Heckleuchten-Rueckleuchten-NEU_W0QQitemZ380131928555QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAutoteile_Zubeh%C3%B6r?hash=item5881a0e9eb&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1262&_trkparms=%7C301%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A30

In my opinion, they look absolutely w*nk.
The OEM LED's look pretty good though, although not cheap at £280.
Never knew these were available.................

i really dont like tail lights to be un-symetrical. the fog on the left and reverse on the right really stands out too much for me :undecided:
-
I've seen the LED lights from the first post on a black mk5 and they look alright. Obviously not OEM, but not as bad as people think! In colours other than black though it would stick out a bit much, but on a black car they blended in really well.

Jimp, want some 17" monza's?
£100, need new tyres
