Has anyone upgraded the brakes on their Golf??? I would like to give my Mk.3 with standard 13-inch wheels a bit more braking power. I thought about changing the front solid disc's for ventilated one's, which is pretty cheap and seems simple to do. I have read somewhere that it is very expensive to upgrade to larger front disc's. Does anyone have any simple, relatively cheap solutions for upgrading my brakes??

I good set of brake pads. not green stuff!
Fitting larger brakes aint alot of money. But they wont fit under13" wheels.
look on ebay for bigger brakes from mk3's

I use the same and agree 100%.
Could be a lot less hassle to just put some good fresh pads and discs on, and give the whole car a bleed. Firm up the pedal a bit.
