Title: VR6 Overheat but had a new head gasket n thermostat

my mates vr6 keeps over heating he removed the thermostat completely it still did it and now hes replaced the head gasket n it keeps bubbling up the water. any advice i have not looked at this yet but will be soon so need so help. i herd the vr6 are a pain to bleed.

how do i check this. does this mean the rad want keep hot n no hot air in the heater as its not pumping water round

are you sure that there isnt an air leak and its been bled properly???

yep a electric one.

The electric pump only runs when the engine is switched off, to prevent hot spots in the engine.

so the eletric one should cause a problem then when the engines running

No, the electric pump only runs when you stop the engine.
Check the main pump.

how do i check if its working surly if the rads geting hot it n i get hot air i guess its working is this correct

Run the car from cold, take the expansion tank cap off, you should see water slowly coming back in the top.
