Title: HELP MY HEAD UNIT MK3 GOLF GTI 1992????

hi all,

i just wanted some help because im really starting to get pi***ed off now, i tryed to connect my head unit today but i didnt recive no power to it when i switched the car on? thing is which is the live wire and which is igniiontion :|???

please help me

I think you swap red and yellow mate

red and yellow are the ign and battery red ign and yel battery and of course black is earth connect to the brown on the car

get a meter or a test liht and see if you are getting power from the iso blocks on the car first of all mate

Just gonna have to play with what wires you have then!

Or take a new feed direct from battery, but will still need a remote.

this is all sorted now i fixed the problem he needed a new ignition live and iso plug and i also completely re-wired all his speakers
