Hi, I have a mk4 golf gti 1.8T and i want to paint the brake calipers red. Just wondering if there are any reccomendations on what paint to use? I also was wondering if the calipers are hard to remove or not?
Many Thanks
James

i used hammerite smooth! does the job perfectly well and stays on properly.

I agree hammerite is all you need,Don`t need to buy any special paint

I would use Hycote ultra high temp paint as i got loads on trial through work and it is super tough but neads a good grease free clean surface Costs £6 a can.
but all my other cars had hammerite which is less fussy and can be touched up easy which is good cos it does come off

I have always used and can recommend hammerite
