hi guy's im usless when it comes to the mechjanical side of things, i cleaned my engine bay not to long ago and now its nice a clean i have noticed what looks like a slow leak from area in pic below, is this bad? whats causing it where is it comming from?

I'd say its that coolant flange, oring gone in it prob, is a common fault. Id do the one on the side as well

will this cost alot and also my car wouldn't start dis morning would that be down to this aswell?

nah they're dirt cheap, easy fix too! non-start could be down to the ecu temp sensor, its the 4 pin black thing in the flange there, unrelated to the leak I'd have thought though. all that white crud round the sparky lead might be a clue, best whip it off and give that area a clean, and check the lead/plug for damage.

The flanges are about £15 for the pair and you will need some vw antifreeze. Easy job. The temp sensor would be my first port of call for the starting too.
