Title: Finally got a sppedlight!!

Found it today on ebay and went against my better judgement and bought it as i couldnd let it go for the price it was!!

look basically brand new

430EXii £175 good deal?

yeah cant wait for it to come, will ahve all teh settigns etc that my current flash doesnt have it has well a on/off switch hahah

goign to be readign up on light painting tonight so cant wait to try som of this out with it D

well its worth it in the end!! If i can get light paintign down with a bit of luck after a while ill be able to produce stuff like this, obviously this guy does it for a living

ther is an element of PD but its using layers, you use the flash to light the car up, so take 4/5 photos with the flash in differnt positions so it lights the car up, layer it in ps and bang you have a spanking photo like that!! obviously not that simple but with the one i bought it has lots of settigns so can reduce the power of the flash etc to get the right lighting,

ill post up some attempts once it comes thorugh

Nice one :) External flashes are great when used properly! Have a look on www.strobist.com for tips and tricks.

Also get yourself a wireless kit! The "Cactus" kits off ebay are dirt cheap and really good

yeah ive seen that web site a few times,

well woke up today and the sppedlight i bough off ebay at 12pm yesterday was here this morning!!!! awsome :D going to read my booka nd on lighting and try some out tomorrow, going to the south west motor show
