Title: mk3 golf gti gearbox linkage help
Post by: yorkshire_gti on 18 June 2009, 19:40
I have a mk3 1995 golf gti 16v and it grinds trying to get into second...third isnt great to find
either...the linkage is very loose and wobbly(is this bad? )

I have seen the linkage kits online with new bushes etc but could i just unbolt a full
linkage off another golf and bolt it onto mine as i dont fancy stripping mine..?

any help appreciated...

16 valvers have hydrolic clutches and cable change gearboxes.

When you say your linkage is very loose and wobbly what part are you exactly referring to?
