mine is all standard at the mo. after reading the hottuning coilovers thread, I thought I would make a thread to see what people have got and what you think of them. hopefuly you can help me make my mind up. I aint wanting track sl*t coilovers, just want to be able to adjust the hight.
Post your thoughts people.

I got supersport on mine, rides okay, drops to about 100-120mm. About £275 now i think.
-
I had Hottuning, good value for money and a lot of people are running them.

Are they stiff that is the question? I need firm, stiff suspension to suit my driving style.
do the coilovers fit all models of mk3? including the vr6?

will provide more than enough siffness for road use and yes they will fit all models with the correct top mounts

I have FK Highsports, comfey ride, yet still firm enough to chuck it about.

i strongly recommend hottuning coilovers. they are pretty much faultless for the price. for a golf, they are more than enough. plus the warrenty they give is 2 years i think, so you got piece of mind. i used to throw my mk3 around and it would stay flat round corners, good stuff!

I have koni coilovers on my Mk3.. Both damper and height adjustable. Very very good but spensive.

i have janspeed coilovers fitted to my golf, they very good and was cheap but the ride when set really low is very harsh

I have H&R fronts and SPAX Height & Damping Rears and the ride is spot on
I highly reccomend hottuning , had them on my mk2 lowered 120mm and the ride was stiff yet comfy , well worth the money !
