Okay, so first proper update.

This is exactly how I got her. Picked her up last week from just outside Guildford.

She's a 1992 3-door VW Golf GTI 16v which as you can see has been converted to run a G60 (1.8 8v supercharged) engine. Her current specification is as follows:

Performance
1.8 G60 engine from VW Corrado
68mm pulley
Stage 4 supercharger
4-1 exhaust manifold
Jetex stainless manifold-back system with twin 3" pipes
K&N Induction kit
Mercedes Sprinter front mounted intercooler with custom stainless pipework

Suspension/braking
-40mm springs on Turbo Gas shocks
G60 brakes
BBS RA 15" wheels with 195/50/15 tyres

Cosmetic
Genuine "big bumper" model
Debadged and smoothed rear end
Flat rear wiper
Single front wiper conversion with Aero-Twin wiper
Mint rainbow interior
"Stealth" parcel shelf with Kenwood 6x9's
Headlamp "eyebrow" spoiler
Black front grille VW badge
Deleted front GTI badge

There's still plenty to do, but as you can see from the pics her bodywork is in excellent condition and there's the biggest pile of history paperwork I've ever seen in my life:
