never been a fan of de-badged, why take away the identity of the car!
-
Debadged
-
i agree with the whole keeping the vw badged as its a thing to be proude of and don't need hiding like me last car did lol

but it dose look good d-badged tho i think
-
I had both on mine, I did think debadged was better but a black grill badge can look as good.
-
In my Dub Rides thread, you'll find me debating with myself and others over about 20 pages of whether to keep the debadged look or not, in the end I chose not too as from certain angles it looked pretty gay.
It can look really mean and aggressive when looking at it dead on, but most other angles it looks like a poncy girl lol! Keep the badge, and black all indicators and badges.
-
de-badged, with the gti badge on it i reckon ;)
-
I agree with shady it only looks good when looking straight at it, other angles it just looks odd! Id keep it as vw intended!
Pete
-
I brought mine debadged, but seeing as I have no rear or side badges, I have left the debadged front grill on :)
-
need to get a VR splitter too on that car, will make it look a lot meaner!

lol yeah think ill keep the badge like you say it aint like i got to hide the fact its a sh!troen or any thing lol pluss keeping the bages means it will be more standard so when comming to selling it again in future it will sell better if more standard.
dunno about blacking my badges tho, im planing on keeping all my lights clear and think the silver badges suit the clear lights if had black lights id defo black the badges.

never been a fan of de-badged.. keep it on there. might look good in black with your car colour
-
black badge ? maybe would look good as its a dark color
-
defo vw logo!, i reckon black badges would look awesome if you are looking to create a diff look for your car without defacing it totally!, you can always put silver badge back on!

Debadged with the red GTI looks good.
-
black badge with red GTI does it for me on this car!, reckon GTI badge looks lonely without the VW
-

I had the same until someone nicked the GTI badge, should of used a drop of superglue.

I got bored and took most of the nice bits off and sold it back in Jan to someone on here, not sure if he still has it, I then ran a BMW 5 series for 9 weeks then also sold that, god only knows what to get next.

Yes in a way

Get another golf, you certainly know how to make them stand out, without respraying it lime green like my mate did with his 206 gti
-
i reckon black badge and spray the two grille slats black aswell
-
that is actually my next mod!, but iv decided to get a second hand grill so i can swap it back to the original as i know what im like
-
I go for the partially de-badged look. Have kept the VW and Golf badges to retain the car's basic identity, but removed the GTI and 16V ones; people can find that bit out the hard way!

Um, no not really. Is this something you've had problems with? You may have hit on a serious de-badging issue here; the people need to be told!
