Title: Legal Pressed Steel Number Plates
Post by: Ben_1uk on 16 June 2009, 17:14
Are they available? Both my front and rear plates are nackered as well as the plate holders because of my little incident: http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=119960.0 (http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=119960.0) I really like the look of them - especially with the German-style plate surrounds as well

Has anyone got a link for the TSR number plates? I've tried looking on their website, but I can't find anything.

These are my pressed ones. I decided not to get the GB thing added as it just mates them look tidy (imo). Iv also got them stuck on without a plate holder using a sticky adhesive pad. Main reason for doing that was that my CF front doesnt allow you to have a plate holder but I also think it makes the car look tidier and simpler.

Just in the process of ordering some plates from Dubmeister - what do I need to send off with my order (have to say it's not terribly clear!). I have my V5 at the ready. What else do I need? Driving license or something?

Will they accept photocopies if I speak to them nicely - not too thrilled about the idea of sending off my license :undecided:

you don't want to save a tenner with the group buy then?

We have 11 people now, you'd be the 12th and we need 15

Got my plates the other day from Dubmeister, but no plate holders??? They were ordered at the same time but nothing arrived. I've tried to get hold of someone 5 times today as I'm really quite desperate for them, but no one is answering the phone!!! They haven't gone have they...?

Finally got in touch with someone!!!!! Basically, they've stuffed up my order. Plate holders won't be dispatched until tomorrow now. Bit disappointed with the service TBH.

Did you have to send your license off in the end? I too am not keen on being without it. Are you supposed to order online and then send the documents or vise versa? Farkin DVLA regulations.
