....to my local recommended bodyshop for the following work:
-Crystal clear lights fitted
-One off chrome grille fitted (single lamped on each side)
-Rubber strips from the cab removed along the sides of the car and replaced with a thin silver stripe 8)
-Vented wing fitted, sprayed and laqured on drivers side (transporter vent)
all together got a lowish quote of ?270. Is that a good price?
I figured you get what you pay for with bodyshops, and he does come recommended.

Sounds like a good price providing the spray job is good.
However I reckon you could of done a lot of those jobs yourself and saved a packet.
Lights, side strips and grille are easy jobs to do. Have a go yourself first

Richard, Dont fancy selling me the rubber strips from the Drivers side door and 1/4.

dubmiester recommended the grille to be fitted by a bodyshop as it was supposidly a very tight fit (non original FK non badged one)...
didnt want headlights that werent aligned properly either... :-[
im crap with things like this :-[

got the car back today, although the grille does look a bit too chrome!
vented wing looks excellent.
rob do you still want the strips? I pm'd u with no response...? ???

Richard, where did you get the thin silver stripes?

the bodyshop has this extra sticky silver tape 1/4 inch wide. its fitted over the strips holes around the car. the holes have been filled but not painted. if you look closely you can see the indents, but i prefer it like that...
ill ge tthe pics up next week after the coilovers are fitted
