Title: urgent help with removing front disc

okay got pads out, taken that screw out that holds disc in place!, do i need to take the driveshaft nut off as there is no movement at all? :sad:

nope it should just be 1 or 2 small screws to locate it on hub, prob just rusted on, give it a few smaks with something

yeah afaik it is just held on with the one screw, maybe try pushing it back and forth to get it off

knock/tap it with a rubber mallet...

As with everything on my car, if it dont come off by hand, it does by foot! lol

whats so hard about doing that?? lol...when i removed the engine from my golf i didnt have an engine crane, so i undone all the mounts (all front end was bolted off anyway) and tired the engine to the tow bar of my volvo :laugh:

meh, i was breaking the car for parts anyway :laugh:

brakes done! :smiley:, ill be painting calipers at weekend as i did one and it took ages to dry lol!, so ill be driving round with one yellow caliper, ah well needs another coat :grin:

Should have said mate, you could have brought it round here id have done them for you, only taken 1/2hr.   :lipsrsealed: :smiley:
