Title: camera insurance ???

who do you use?

just tryign to figure out what is best for the 'amatuer photographer' as i do need to sort out cover just incase anything was to happen

I'm with Photoguard and they're excellent. Very easy to use and cheap. I've had no bother when I've been adding new gear too.

Mines covered with Currys for 3 years. Covers accidental damage, I doubt I'll ever need to add new gear as I don't really have a lot lol!

Do you have household contents insurance? If so you might already be covered. check the policy documents for all risks cover

If you require a separate policy, have a look at Glover and Howe.

EU with 30 days worldwide.  What does that mean exactly?  I'm covered in Europe, and can be covered outside of Europe for up to 30 days a year?

Correct :) Covered the whole year in EU, 30 days worldwide.

Mortimer Hill: I asked my parents about this and while I am covered, I believe they have an excess which costs more than my camera insurance costs :)
