Ok so i have a p plate gti 8v which is immaculate, had it for 1-2 years, spent a fortune on it, love it!
i also have a 52 plate mk4 tdi which has full vwsh and has been in the family since new! its completely standard and i use it as a work horse,
missis lost her job last week so its time to get rid of one, gti would be the sensible option to sell but i have put so much money and time into her, if i sold it i would probably get some rims and lowering kit for the mk4.
or do i sell the mk4, chuck a grand at the mk3 and go on a nice sunny holiday somewhere?

Sunny holiday
It'll cheer you both up

Keep the mk4, it is a TDI and will be cheaper to run.
-
keep the mk4 and dont waste money on it
-
im thinking keep the mk4, as far as spending money on it ill have to! just cant stand driving round in a car thats standard for some reason! i just get bored! just a set of rims and a nice drop!
gonna kill me to see the mk3 drive off tho, why am i so attached to a 12 yr old 8valve i dont know! but i am!

Cos you are Gary Glitter

Sell the mk3, as it will cost u the earth to run.
Plus petrol is now the same price as diesel!
Keep the Mk4, dont modify it. And spend the money on the missus and a holiday.
Or spend the money on a FAST car as a toy.
