i tried finding everything out on the net but cant figure it out. when i go above 2500rpm the oil light flashes and and it buzz's which is very annoying. Is there a way to sort this out?
what is it thats causing this?
Any help would be much appreciated thankyou ^-^

im not sure of this but i think low oil pressure or low engine oil?
My polo did that but here was no faults with the engine but with the sensor. Connected the sensor wire to 'earth' and that shut it up :D

I had this problem on my 16v. I changed both the oil sensors on top of the oil cooler (pattern parts) for original VAG ones and it went away.
worth a try as they are cheep!

if what gav says doesnt cure it then there is a partial blockage in the oil pickup in the sump
enough oil can just about get past, but once under load the engine is being starved of oil hence the light/buzzer warning
