Hi All,
I'm having major problems trying to find these alloys. Problem is, due to me being an idiot and scuffing my nearside alloy (quite badly!), I need to find a new alloy as refurbing isn't an option.
I've searched forums, Ebay, google, everything I can think of, but can't find any anywhere, only replicas. I'm after 1 x 18" BBS Monza II Alloy (I'm even willing to consider buying more than one if I can't get one on its own!)
PLEASE PLEASE help me, I'm going mad!!
Cheers in advance!

Just found this but they do look a bit worn - probably no better/worse than yours:

Post a picture of the damage, i'ver seen some unbelivable damage which has been repaired to an unnoticable stadard and probably come in a lot cheaper than buying a new one!

If it's that important, you can get one from your VW dealer as a last resort...

I had difficultly finding some too, thats why I went for the pescaras in the end...Now I am glad I did, whilst I love the monza look, I've seen too many close kerbings that leave terrible scratches on the surface.
There are also a load of dodgy copies (and better quality copies) out there, you just have to be aware of what you are buying.
Go to a VW dealer....lol...do they EVER actually sell any from there? what are they a corner....£400?
They do come up on forums for sale, you just have to be patient and when they do, don't hesitate else they'll be gone lickety split (or whatever that saying is).

You can try emailing this guy who is reliable and should do you a good deal for a new rim.

Thanks to all for your help.
Cass, I think you're right, though one of the alloys looks to be in a decent condition. That said, if it's £500 for 4 I'd probably be best with a new one from VW. Cheers in any case!
Bacillus, I've emailed the guy on Ebay to see if he can get hold of anything for me, thanks for that.
Sambo, I'll get some pics taken tomorrow in the light and post them on here. I have no idea how to post a photo directly on to this threat so can someone tell me how to do this?
Cheers

Just an update. I managed to stumble across a brand new boxed Monza alloy, genuine, on Ebay and secured it for £203. Almost half the price of Vdub!
Cheers all for your help.

I do understand what you mean AlanD.
Before I had the pescaras I had some R32 copies on from a previous owner (the original owner had 17s on from factory). I had 2 buckeled wheels so decided to off the lot, my intention was to get Monzas...but good genuine examples were just nowhere to be found, I searched for months and even had a run in with a dodgy seller on ebay! All that and they actually have a lot of issues with white worm etc.
I wanted genuine VW wheels and these Pescaras came up for sale, which I think look fabulous in the flesh. So, I guess you could say I went from a cheap wannabe to a genuine wannabe.. .perhaps not for the "purist" however I think on balance that I made the correct decision. This was re-inforced when I actually drove the car with these on....the handling was improved significantly too, its not just cosmetic.
