BOSCH Platinum Spark Plugs are good and not ridiculously priced. You'll need a deep spark plug specific socket, it's 16mm iirc?

Yeah i bought my various plug socket sizes from Halfords years ago, before i even knew about tinterweb shopping etc. Their tools are actually pretty good and i've only broke a few items out of many and that was down to me giving them abuse lol
Screwfix and machinemart are both good as well, screwfix been cheaper of the three.
But if you're in no desperate rush id opt for Ebay, ive had some real tool bargains on there.

lol...seriously though, pop in to GSF, they will give you the right plugs, should be between 1.50-2 quid each :) or even NGK ones are ok (i use them in the vauxes but not sue if VW's like them much)

Yeah man, GSF, Euro Car parts or pretty much any other motor factor should be able to point you in the right direction. Spark plugs in  general have come a long way in terms of reliability and performance these days.

dont go to euro car parts please...the are idiots  they will most likely give you the wrong part and you will have to make a few trips to get it right
