Title: Rear Wiper Cover?
Post by: smoove on 12 June 2009, 07:59
Saw a few Golfs/other cars with the rear wiper removed and a small circle thing just plugging up the whole where it was, just wondering where I can get one and what they are called?

THanks

id run a small bead of clear silicone around the inner edge of the rubber grommet before fitting just for extra piece of mind. No one wants a boot full of rain water and a rust trap around the edges of the wiper hole.

They definitely sell an assorted pack of rubber grommets in Halfords, they're normally shelved with all the other assorted packs of nuts, bolts, washers, clips etc etc. Every store that i've been in has had them i'm sure.

I personally find these horrid, they look like black spots that just want to be popped, if you want to dewiper then do it properly or don't do it at all, that's my opinion lol!
