Title: remote locking

hey all

just woundering now as its realy starting to bug me.
when eva i lock my car using the key fob, it locks everything aprt from the boot, (i have to manualy lock it) (which i sometimes forget)  :sick:

is this normal or is it something i need to tinker with at the weekend lol

btw its a 2001 mk4 GTI

but it unlocks when you open the rest of the car?

no it will stay locked until i put the key in the boot and do it manualy

the fault will most likely be the solenoid in the boot that operates the central locking for the boot lock, they seize up and stop working remove the boot trim and check it.
