Title: estate bits
Post by: Chris-White on 09 June 2009, 23:24
hi mk3'ers.

anyone know if mk3 estate front subframes are the same as hatchback ones?

also, are petrol and diesel fuel tanks and lines the same?

Cheers

Subframe yes, not sue on the fuel tank.

Subframe is the same but tank and lines are different, i've just checked on vagcat. Obviously for starters the unleaded petrol one will have a narrower restricted filling neck.

I'm surprised the Syncro has the biggest capacity considering they have a prop shaff and rear diff to accommodate as well.
