Title: smoothing mk4 bumpers??????

ok so im thinking about having a bash at smoothing some bumpers for my mk4 but im having trouble trying to find out what is used to fill in the rub strips on the bumpers. any ideas anyone???

the proper way to do it, is get a spare rub strip and plastic weld various bits together to create one smooth on, but you could maybe use fiberglass bit by bit and then use normal filler to finish it off, i did a similar thing on my old mg and it looks sweet but took ALOT of time
