Title: Front disks - MkIV V6 4motion
Post by: boybandalex on 09 June 2009, 12:57

Hi guys

My 2001 MkIV V6 4motion needs new front disks and pads. I'm thinking that paying VW c.£400 for VW pads and disks fitting is a bad value, so wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions?

Key is that I don't want to chav up the car or affect the insurance - its totally stock at the moment.

Will it mong up the handling putting different disks on the front?

Thanks

Alex

Try GSF, parts should be fairly cheap for standard parts.
Then fit them yourself, or find a good garage that will.
