hello! I had a mk2 1.6 driver as my first car a year ago but sadly let it go!! :cry: :cry: :cry:
But I have decided to come back to the vdub seen!! :smiley:
i am 18 with a year no claims and a clean licence :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
will i be able to get insured and if so how much?? i am buy it for my mate who is 19 with zero noclams and he was insured for £1000!!! through NFU but i would need to get my dad to swap insurance comps to do that! and he wont :angry: help please!!

Insurance companies are the best place to go when you want a quote :wink:
I'd recommend Bell for yourself, in your name with your parents as named drivers.

my mate had no no claims and he paid 2500 at 18...
he said this year it would be 1400 and he's 21??
cant see why it should be that much, i only pay 900 on a mk3 8v...
but what mew said about your parents...
im with e-car (not esure) - they worked quite well for me!!

im 18 1ncb and have a mk2 golf gti 8v and it cost me 1400 fully comp with admiral
