Does it actually work on all three settings or just on slowest?

You might need a new blower motor, my first one that died went really noisy then stopped working on all but one setting.

They aren't too badly priced from Euro and easy to swap.

Having said this the demisting abilities even with a new motor aren't exactly great

you need a new switch which sits in the heater control paned, which is the bit you turn.

Can sell you a working one for £5 posted mate?

Its very common on mk2's!
